Knee pain can make even simple, everyday tasks feel difficult and discouraging. We understand how much it can affect your quality of life—and we’re here to help you take control, heal, and move forward. At Peak Performance Physical Therapy, we treat more than just your knee; we treat you as a whole person, with compassion, respect, and personalized care.
If you’re preparing for surgery—whether it’s for an ACL injury, a torn meniscus, or a knee replacement—physical therapy before your procedure can make a world of difference. Pre-surgical rehabilitation, or “prehab,” helps strengthen your muscles, improve flexibility, and set a strong foundation for recovery. Research shows that patients who complete prehab often experience faster healing, better outcomes, and a smoother return to the activities they enjoy most.
At Peak Performance Physical Therapy, we believe that building strength before surgery gives you more than just a physical advantage—it gives you confidence. Our team is dedicated to preparing you for the road ahead so that when surgery day arrives, you feel empowered and ready to succeed.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. Your dedication to your health motivates and inspires our entire team every day. We are committed to providing expert care, a positive environment, and unwavering support at every stage of your recovery.
If you have any questions about prehab, post-surgical rehab, or simply want guidance on next steps, we are always here for you. You can also visit our website to learn more about how we can help you move forward with strength and confidence.
We are proud to be on your team—and we look forward to seeing you continue to achieve great things.

Are you struggling with a knee injury?
Physical therapy can be a game-changer in your recovery, helping you heal faster and maintain an active lifestyle without surgery. Knee injuries can result from various causes, including meniscus tears, ACL strains, arthritis, cartilage inflammation, muscle weakness, or overuse. Even if surgery isn’t required, physical therapy can address these issues effectively and help you regain your strength and mobility.
Our tailored approach focuses on the specific needs of each condition:
- Meniscus Tears: Therapy reduces inflammation, restores range of motion, and strengthens the surrounding muscles to stabilize your knee.
- ACL Strains: Physical therapy improves leg strength, balance, and mobility while reducing swelling to prevent further injury.
- Arthritis: Targeted exercises help reduce pain, improve joint flexibility, and enhance your overall function.
- Cartilage Inflammation: Techniques focus on reducing swelling and pain while restoring muscle strength and joint motion.
- Muscle Weakness or Degeneration: Therapy builds strength, balance, and endurance to support the knee joint and improve function.
Even if your injury doesn’t require surgery, physical therapy is key to recovery and getting back to doing what you love. Let us create a personalized plan tailored to your needs so you can move forward with confidence!

Katie Hill- Physical Therapist
Hi, I’m Katie! I’m originally from Albion, MI. I completed my bachelor’s degree at Albion College (yes, the same town I was raised in) and completed my Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Trine University. My husband and I moved to the Lansing area after I finished school to be close to family. I’ve been with Peak Performance since April 2024. I enjoy treating knee and hip pain along with general deconditioning in order to help patients return to the best version of themselves. In my free time I enjoy reading, crocheting, and playing with my dog (Mona).

Elle Curry– Lead Physical Therapy Technician- DeWitt
I’ve been a tech for three years now and have spent the past year and a half at our DeWitt clinic before being promoted to lead tech. I’m currently enrolled full-time at LCC, working toward my Associate’s degree in Exercise Science, which I plan to complete in Fall 2025. Around that same time, I also hope to finish my Personal Trainer Certification.
After that, my plan is to transfer back to MSU to complete my Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, and eventually apply to Physical Therapy school to earn my Doctorate.
Outside of work and school, I also coach travel volleyball at Ballistic in Lansing!
