My 10 year work anniversary trip. A gift from Peak Performance Physical Therapy.

My 10 year work anniversary trip. A gift from Peak Performance Physical Therapy.

I have had the privilege to work at Peak Performance Physical Therapy for 10 years. I met Jill Marlan when she was a resident instructor for Oakland University’s Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy program and have been working with her in some capacity ever since. She always challenged me and set an example to be passionate about my work and never stop learning. We shared the same competitive instinct to become the best in our profession.  Fast forward 10 years and Peak Performance has become a vibrant locally owned nationally recognized PT practice with 4 locations in the greater Lansing area. I started as a staff PT and now I am the Clinical Director of all 4 locations. One of the greatest things about Peak Performance is that the company’s core values drive how the company is managed and operated on a daily basis.  Their core values are Servant Focused, Business Excellence, Gratitude, Positive Energy, and Collaboration.

One way the company shows Gratitude is that when an employee hits 5 years of employment they get a long weekend trip with a guest to a beautiful location in Michigan.  My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend trip to Mackinaw Island where we stayed at the Grand Hotel and played 18 holes of golf at the Jewel Golf course.  My wife was my good luck charm and I was able to get my first hole in one!

For an employee 10 year work anniversary, they get to go to a destination of their choice for 5 days and 4 nights.  My wife joined me again for this trip we were able to get out of the frigid February winter weather and enjoy some sunshine and warmth in Clearwater Beach Florida.  I don’t any other Physical Therapy company that shows its gratitude to its employees in such a memorable way.  Every day I’m reminded that Peak Performance Physical Therapy is truly a family. It is evident in how they treat their staff.  I can’t wait to see what happens when I hit my 20 year work anniversary!

If you want to learn, if you want to grow, if you want to be a part of a family then choose a career at Peak Performance Physical Therapy.
